Clyde Bosman Plumbing & Drainage was established in 1995 and has grown from strength to strength... From a small fleet of plumbing vehicles and 3 plumbers to a team of over 12 at times. Started by Clyde and run by him and his wife Cheryl for over 15 years, it is now time for new blood to come in and Clyde and Cheryl to go in to early retirement and relax in the country side while youngest son Darren takes over their duties. Clyde has been plumbing from the age of 13 working on weekends with his farther during the holidays and weekends, starting at the bottom of the old family business by digging trenches to earn pocket money he worked his way up and qualified as a plumber at the age of 22 at Olliefantsfontein trade test centre. Clyde is the foundation and rock upon which Clyde Bosman Plumbing was built, forming a solid foundation of three main components- HARD WORK, EXPERIENCE and THE WILL TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE IN CAPE TOWN. Clyde has over 45 years experience in the plumbing industry. He is slowing down now and claims to be in "semi- retirement"....
Darren Bosman
Darren, like his father has been plumbing from the age of 13, working on weekends and school holidays carrying tools, geysers and laying drains. Installing his first geyser at the age of 16 he has now grown into one of the most determined plumbers in Cape Town. Darren has now taken over the plumbing and drainage divisions, managing a team of 5 men at times, ensuring all are maintaining Clyde's high standard...
Cheryl Bosman
Cheryl controls the show behind the scenes, ensuring that customers bookings are met, accounts are sent on time, phones are answered and ensures that the show runs smoothly. She has been involved from the beginning and continues to play an important part of the company.
James Mudhumo
James has been working for Clyde Bosman Plumbing for a few years and has shown just how tough and willing he is. James started our as a labourer digging trenches and helping out here and there, he has now progressed to Darren's right hand man and plays a vital role in the company. He is currently learning the trade and how to become a plumber under Darren who is keen to teach James as he is so willing and eager to learn and show great interest in plumbing and becoming a plumber. His dream is to qualify and teach his nephew the trade.
